I’m not going to tell you I’m “passionate about capturing your special day.” Everyone says that. It means nothing. Also, who talks like that?
Here’s what actually matters: I’m from Brooklyn, so yes, I have opinions, yes, I’ll probably make a joke at the worst possible moment (it’ll land, don’t worry), and yes, I photograph weddings like the moment only happens once. Because it does. Off the clock, I’m an introvert who would rather text than call. Hand me a camera and something flips II come alive, I get loud, I’m everywhere at once. Sounds like a contradiction until you watch it happen at your reception.
I’ve had couples tell me afterward, “wait, when did you even take that?” right before they cry looking at the photo, because I caught the exact second someone’s dad lost it, or the look between two people who forgot the other 150 guests existed. That’s the job. Getting close enough to catch everything, quiet enough that nobody clocks me doing it.
I turn galleries around in 1 to 2 weeks. Not “6 to 8,” not “please be patient during our busy season.” You just got married you shouldn’t have to wait three months to remember what it felt like.
I’m not just photographing you, I’m working the whole room. Got a vision in your head? A specific shot, a “Vogue moment,” something you saw on Pinterest and haven’t stopped thinking about? Trust and believe it’s getting done. I show up early enough to catch the chaos before it becomes the ceremony, and I’m not the photographer who tells you “we’ll see.” I don’t do half-anything, and I’m definitely not a pushover if it’s on your list, it’s happening.
Every love story gets the same treatment from me any couple, any culture, any kind of wedding. Love is love, and I’m here for all of it.
